Wall Street Sequel On Target

The sequel to classic 80s movie Wall Street is moving ahead according to insiders in Hollywood.

Variety – the daily showbiz newspaper – says he script is being fast-tracked by the studio with Michael Douglas returning as Gordon Gekko.

The modern-day story will again centre on Gordon who has recently been sprung from prison and re-emerges into a much more tumultuous financial world than the one he once lorded over.

The Bud Fox character, played by Charlie Sheen in the original, will not appear in the sequel.
