Run to the Beat

Run to the Beat is London’s first half marathon, and takes place on 5th October 2008.

This unique event starts and finishes at the O2 in Greenwich taking in three Olympic venues. What's even more special is that there will be live music around the course using a variety of talented artists, as well as great music from Heart to keep you going.

Join Heart's very own Harriet Scott, who is the official ambassador for the event, so get your running shoes on!

Do you want to be one of the bands playing music around the 13-mile course?

City Showcase is providing a unique chance for musicians to compete to play at one of the 15 music stations along the route of London's hotly anticipated, Run to the Beat.

The seventh City Showcase is taking place 2nd-6th June 2008 and has previously played host to Amy Winehouse, Keane, Razorlight and Hot Chip, who all began their long road to fame and fortune on the City Showcase stage.

If you want to take part as a musician in the great new event, please send a web link, a brief biography, a photo and a CD demo to City Showcase, PO Box 2212, Pulborough, RH20 2XJ.
