Richard & Judy Call It TV Quits

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan are calling it a day on their tea time TV reign.
 
They have parted company with Channel Four after six years – if reports are right, he will pursue a solo television career while she will stay at home to write.

A spokesman for the couple said: “After 20 years of presenting live daytime television, Richard and Judy have called time.”

There will be two final series of Richard and Judy next year, each lasting ten weeks.

The show has been losing viewers and was also involved in the phone-in scandal after nearly three million people entered a quiz show with no chance of winning.
