Is it any good? It’s amazing. It’s another film that you should expect to be getting an nod or two at the Oscars in February. Once again, Jake proves he’s more than just a pretty face and pulls a first class performance out of the bag, while Reese Witherspoon really tugs at the heartstrings as a wife and mother left in the dark and Meryl Streep is so cold she almost ices up the screen. Absolutely first class, although the torture scenes might be a bit brutal for some.
