Mamma Mia! The Movie Soundtrack
They don’t come more Feelgood than this. The movie is likely to be one of the most seen this year so this album with performances by Meryl Streep, Julie Walters and Pierce Brosnan alongside production by the original band members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus will more than likely to be one of the most bought too. Essential.

Now That’s What I Call Music 70The compilation series that keeps on giving! If you’re looking for a one stop shop of big hits from the last 3 months then this 2 cd set is it. Featuring hits from Kylie, Girls Aloud, Rihanna and Duffy you’ll have over 40 tracks to enjoy over the summer.
Gabriella Cilmi – Lessons to be learned
You may have come across Gabriella Cilmi (pronounced ‘Chill Me’) on your tv screens over the last few months as her song ‘Sweet About Me’ has been used on the ‘Sure’ tv ad. The album follows in a similar vein with plenty of bright, fun and upbeat songs produced by the team behind the Sugababes and Girls Aloud. A fantastic debut album from the 16 year Australian who used to sing rock covers before she found stardom. Recommended.

Dolly Parton – Backwards BarbieAfter wowing fans again on her recent tour Dolly returns with her first mainstream country album in 17 years. The album is full of quality songs exceptionally well written by Dolly alongside a few great cover versions (‘The tracks of my tears’ and ‘She drives me crazy’). If you’ve previously liked anything Dolly has released in the past this album is a must.
Alphabeat - This is Alphabeat
Alphabeat are from Denmark and their first single was the incredibly catchy ‘Fascination’ which isn’t surprising as their influences are most things 1980’s including Abba and Wham. At times the album can sound a little juvenile (a recent comparison to High School Musical isn’t far off the mark) but this is a non stop catchy, fun, feelgood selection that will certainly be sure to lift your mood.
