What's it about? The random escapades of Stan Smith, an extreme right wing CIA agent dealing with family life and keeping America safe, all in the most absurdist way possible.
What type of film is it? Animated TV Show
Is it any good? This series is growing on me. I’m a fan of Family Guy – a show made by the same guy, Seth MacFarlane – so I’ve always compared the two shows. Family Guy is a tough act to follow but this is really finding its feet and becoming less derivative and more hilarious in its own right. If you haven’t seen American Dad before this is a great place to start… then go back and get the first two series’ on DVD.
