It must have worked as Aimee Anne Duffy has since produced one of the biggest selling albums of 2008. With the hit single ‘Mercy’ still a firm favourite with Heart listeners and the smouldering ballad ‘Warwick Avenue’ soon to follow this an album showcases just how terrific her voice is. Essential.

Amy Winehouse – Back to black

There’s been so much written about Amy Winehouse's private life that is all too easy to forget just how fabulous her second album, Back to Black, really is. Widely regarded as one of the best British soul albums of all time, Mark Ronson the producer of most of the album, took inspiration from the music of the 1960's to create "Rehab" , “Back To Black”, "You Know I'm No Good", “Tears Dry On Their Own” and the award winning “Love Is A Losing Game”. A must have in any collection.
