Equalizer Movie Planned

A movie version of the classic 80s TV show The Equalizer is on the cards.

The show featured legendary British actor Edward Woodward as Robert McCall, a former MI5 agent turned vigilante who cleaned up the streets of New York.

He's EXCLUSIVELY told Heart he'd get involved, but on one condition.

Edward explained: “I believe it has been mentioned somewhere so I know it has been discussed but no-one has mentioned it to me so far or approached me. I wouldn’t expect they would though.”

“Everything depends on the script, is it a good script? That’s what I would go for. What sort of character would they want me to play? Would it be a cameo?”

He added: “If it was a good script and I liked the character I would certainly be interested in doing it… but that script would have to be right.”
