Britney To Return To Sitcom?

It looks like Britney might have got herself a recurring spot on US sitcom, How I Met Your Mother.

One of the show’s producers says he's open to having her return for another cameo.

Carter Bays has told The Associated Press: "We always said, 'You know, if her character pops, we'll bring her back."

"I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode."

The 26-year-old got great reviews and drew a huge audience when the she appeared as a goofy receptionist in a recent episode of the cult sitcom.

Asked if Britney might turn out to be the saboteur, Carter said: "Could be. There's no reason why not."

"I don't know if she will do it again though. I don't know the answer to that."
