Star Wars Fans Movie Demo

Angry Star Wars fans have been picketing cinemas in the US over changes to a new movie inspired by the hit sci-fi franchise.

Fanboys is about four diehard fans who break into George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in order to see The Phantom Menace on the eve of its release.

It was originally set for the release last August, but a storyline involving cancer worried studio bosses so they shot a second version of the film.

Fans weren’t impressed.

Now studio bosses have decided that the original version will get a release – but only as part of a special 2 disc DVD which is expected to be released later this year.
