Is it any good? The first Elizabeth film was sensational, and although this is a worthy sequel it lacks the wow factor. Great performances and great Oscar winning visuals will keep attention and stop what is fundamentally a Hollywood-ised history lesson getting boring. Worth a look if you missed it at the cinema last year – but not the one to pick if you want light entertainment.
