What type of film is it? Action Adventure
Is it any good? Despite a critical mauling in the US it’s gone on to make even more money than the first National Treasure movie, which I thought was rubbish. However, I really enjoyed this one. It’s funnier, faster, sharper and leaves the door open nicely for a third movie. Nicolas Cage is great fun, Helen Mirren and Diane Kruger add some glamour but leave your brain at the door as it’s a pure popcorn movie. Exhilarating stuff.
