Coogan Flick Breaks Record

Steve Coogan’s latest movie has sold for a record amount at the arty Sundance Film Festival.

Comedy flick Hamlet 2 has been snapped up by distributor Focus Features for $10 million.

The movie follows a high school drama teacher, played by Steve Coogan, staging a musical sequel to Shakespeare's Hamlet, hoping to inspire a love of theatre in his students.

It also stars Catherine Keener, Elizabeth Shue, Amy Poehler, David Arquette, and Melonie Diaz.
