A comedy about cancer has topped the US box office over the weekend.
The Bucket List – which stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman as patients boldly facing their demise – took sold $19.5 million in its first three days.
However, the film has already had a limited release in key cities including New York, Los Angeles and Toronto.
The teen pregnancy comedy Juno slipped one place to number three with a take of $14 million – the modestly budgeted movie has earned $71.25 million in six weeks - while National Treasure: Book of Secrets fell to fourth place with $11.5 million, bringing in a total of $187.3 million.
The action sequel has already raked up three weeks in the top spot though over the festive period.
