High School Musicals Ashley Tisdale made her first public appearance since having a nose job.
She performed at the Jingle Ball concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday, just days after undergoing surgery.
Ashley however didn’t want to disappoint her fans despite still being in pain and having some swelling.
The 22-year-old didn’t go under the knife for vanity though. She’s had the work , reluctantly, to correct a severely deviated septum.
She’s told People magazine in the US: "I've known for years that I've had a deviated septum."
"On tour I was so out of breath, I started hyperventilating. They were thinking it was a heart attack. The [tour] doctor got me an oxygen tank and I sat outside the stage and breathed in oxygen until I could catch my breath."
Ashley added: "I never want to have plastic surgery again."
"I don't believe in plastic surgery. I really think natural is more beautiful. This was not about changing me. I am comfortable with myself."
