Museum, Ice Sequels Announced

Hollywood bosses have announced a slew of sequels including a follow up to last Christmas’ box office hit Night at the Museum.

Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian will shift from New York where the first film was set to Washington DC.

Ben Stiller will return to star in the sequel, no word yet though if Ricky Gervais – who played a curator in the first film – will also return.

Director Shawn Levy will also be back, and according to reports, Reese Witherspoon is being lined up to one of the historical figures that will be featured – American airwoman Amelia Earhart.

Fox Animation have also announced a second Ice Age sequel.

Ice Age 3 will be shot in digital 3-D and already has a release date of July 2009.

Voice talent Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah and Denis Leary are all back onboard.
