New Coldplay Album Named

Coldplay’s next album will be called Vida La Vida and will hit shelves on June 17.

Apparently the 10 track CD - the band’s first since X&Y in 2005 - has been influenced by Latin music so expect lots of Spanish-style acoustic guitar.

Viva la Vida is also a reference to the 1954 painting of the same name by Mexican art icon Frida Kahlo.

X&Y sold more than 10 million copies on the strength of such hits as The Speed of Sound, Talk and Fix You.
