Matthew's Magnum Movie

Matthew McConaughey is considering taking the lead role in a film version of Magnum PI.

The Fools Gold actor’s been quoted as saying: "I'm having a look at it right now. I'm considering that."

"As I understand it, it's set in the modern day. It's not a parody. It's not going back in time, it's a modern-day Magnum. I like that take."

The original Magnum PI TV series ran from 1980 to 1988 and starred Tom Selleck as an ex-Navy Seal who works in Hawaii as a private investigator.
