Katie Enters Celeb Jungle

The Apprentice villain Katie Hopkins entered the jungle to be told by Janice Dickinson: "I'm the reigning queen of bitches."

She came in as a replacement for former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McClaren, who dropped out of the show at the last minute.

Katie announced her arrival by saying: "People know me as the biggest bitch in Britain. I'm the sort of person that will say what other people are too afraid to say.”

"I'll say it to their face. I'll say it out loud and I'm not afraid of saying it. So people either love me or they loathe me and I commend that. I'd rather be loved and loathed than be in this murky middle ground of mediocrity."

She has no fears about jungle living, saying: "I don't mind the outdoors. I've been through the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. I'm a tough cookie. I can walk as far as a man can walk. I can run faster than any man I know. I'm a tough individual."

PR guru Lynne Franks explained to Dickinson how Katie became famous: "She was in the British version of The Apprentice. She had affairs with married men, there were pictures of her in the tabloids."

Seventies supermodel Dickinson replied: "If she starts, I'll slap her."
