What's it about? Indy becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artefacts known as the Crystal Skulls.
What type of film is it? Action Adventure
Is it any good? This film does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s more of the same from Steven Spielberg and George Lucas who have stuck to the formula religiously. Some people have criticised the film for this, but I think it is where the film's strengths lie. As they say: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Indy is older – but no wiser – but we wouldn’t want him any other way and action scenes are as thrilling as ever especially the edge-of-the-seat chase through the jungle. Everything you could want from the franchise in bucket loads. Welcome back Indy… it’s been too long. The ending though? Not so sure about that...
