Halle Berry’s other half has been brushing up on his parenting skills.

Gabriel Aubry’s told US TV show Extra: "I've been in preparation mode for five months."

"I've read a lot of books."

The 31-year-old added: "There's a good one that Dr. Phil did titled Family First."

"Great book. I recommend it."

Gabriel’s also been trying to introduce himself to his unborn child.

He told People magazine in the US recently: "I talk in the mic in her bellybutton ... that's what we call it."
