Halle's A Berry Happy Mother

Halle Berry is enjoying her first days a mother.

She gave birth to a girl on Sunday and according to her rep is “doing great”.

The baby’s father is Gabriel Aubry, a 32-year-old model that Halle met while  shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005.

The Oscar winning actress first announced her pregnancy in September last year, when she was three months along and only recently said: "I want to stay pregnant forever."

During her pregnancy, Halle told InStyle magazine in the US she felt "fantastic" thanks to eating right and keeping fit with yoga, swimming, light weights and an elliptical machine.

Halle added: "Right now I just have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go."
