The boy band voted off TV talent show X Factor have blamed the choice of song for their fate - but refused to blame mentor Simon Cowell.
Futureproof became the third act to be booted off the programme with their performance of the Andy Williams hit Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You.
The band had been early favourites to win the contest but failed to impress with a performance judge Louis Walsh branded "sloppy".
After going head-to-head with Hope, one of Simon's other acts, Louis and fellow judge Sharon Osbourne voted for the girl band to stay in the competition.
Dannii Minogue wanted to keep the boys in, leaving Cowell choosing to send Futureproof home because Hope had "better long-term potential".
The band said they were unsure about the choice of song for the big band-themed week of the show.
Futureproof also vowed that viewers hadn't seen the last of them, despite no word of a recording contract.
