Britney Spears’ parents aren’t happy with Dr Phil – the TV therapist who has been helping the singer sort out her issue.

They say he betrayed their trust by publicizing his visit to her while she was hospitalized last week.

As her parents spoke out, reports have surfaced claiming Britney’s latest boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib - a paparazzi photographer – has been trying to sell semi-nude pictures of her.

Dr Phil – who shot to fame after regularly appearing on the Oprah Winfrey talk show in the US - issued a statement on Saturday saying she was "in dire need of medical and psychological intervention."
 
Spears spent almost two days in a Los Angeles hospital after being taken from her home on a stretcher after a standoff with police.
