David Hasselhoff is in hospital after hitting the bottle again.

In a statement, his spokesperson Judy Katz, confirmed: "David had a brief relapse and immediately recognized the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors."

"He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning."

Back in May footage of the former Baywatch star, drunk in a Las Vegas hotel room, turned up on the internet.

In it, he was trying to eat a hamburger and rambling.

At the time, David issued a statement saying: "I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite the fact that I have been going through a painful divorce… I have been successfully dealing with my issue."

"Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."
