Critics Maul Rider Return

The new Knight Rider TV movie has been mauled by critics... millions tuned in to watch the two hour special which aired on US network NBC on Sunday night.

However, lukewarm reviews including one saying the franchise was "stuck in reverse" could have producers thinking twice before they say okay to a whole new series.

Even a cameo from the original Michael Knight, David Hasselhoff, couldn’t save the day.

No word yet on whether we'll get the see TV movie over here in the UK anytime soon.
