Free Family Activity Days Exploring Archaeology Be a Time Detective! See and handle 2000-year-old artefacts: what do they tell us about how we used to live? Bring history to life by dressing as Julius Caesar, Queen Boudicca or a Roman Legionary. Visit our beautifully preserved original Victorian kitchens and help the maid with her work. Play games from hundreds or even thousands of years ago, and see what you can dig up in our sandpits! Any questions? Ask our archaeologist! Hands-on activities, costume, role-play, object handling and lots of fun! All our activities are indoors, so come and join us whatever the weather!
