Raising money for the UK's leading blood cancer charity, Leukaemia Research, Music from the Movies is set to be a night of fantastic music and star studded celebrity.

Creepy Creatures From Saturday 20th - Sunday 28th October the London Wetland Centre will be hosting a Creepy Creatures show, where visitors can take a tour of all the scary little fellas in wildlife can be found. Make your own bug mask or costume, go pond dipping, go slimy snail racing and make and decorate a mini-beast hotel. For further information click below.

Free Family Activity Days Exploring Archaeology Be a Time Detective! See and handle 2000-year-old artefacts: what do they tell us about how we used to live? Bring history to life by dressing as Julius Caesar, Queen Boudicca or a Roman Legionary. Visit our beautifully preserved original Victorian kitchens and help the maid with her work. Play games from hundreds or even thousands of years ago, and see what you can dig up in our sandpits! Any questions? Ask our archaeologist! Hands-on activities, costume, role-play, object handling and lots of fun! All our activities are indoors, so come and join us whatever the weather! Supported by the John and Ruth Howard Charitable Trust. Museum entrance and all activities are free. No advance booking, however some activities may be ticketed on the day. Wheelchair accessible.
