Inspired by the Pop Art Portraits exhibition on show at the gallery, this half term at National Portrait Gallery kids can get involved with all kinds of fun art inspired activities. From making their own large scale portraits based on the work of Andy Warhol, to creating a large hanging portrait using screen printing techniques, there is plenty to be inspired by. Create an outfit made from string inspired by the Pop Art Ghost Wardrobe, some brilliant badges to take home and wear and a moving collage card. Although this is a free event, any of the activities taking place over half term at National Portrait Gallery require tickets from the deck in the main hall.

Mondays get more musical as the autumn goes on as the Urban Sounds return to Canary Wharf. With free mini concerts every Monday until the end of November, you can hear a range of music styles from emerging artists. You can hear Urban Sounds at Canary Wharf in a variety of different locations throughout the autumn.
