Simcha on the Square - 12:00PM 14/10/2007
location - Trafalgar Square
12pm - 6pm/ Trafalgar Square, Free Event. Simcha on the Square is a special day of celebration for all Londoners taking place at Trafalgar Square this October. Open to all ages, races, religions and backgrounds the event is set to enjoy a day of Jewish music, live performance, food and activities which celebrate the Jewish word Simcha, meaning joy or party.

Kids in the Kitchen - 12:30PM 14/10/2007
location - HOB
12.30pm - 5.30pm/ HOB/ Free event Nearest Tube: Russel Square. Children can get hands on with food and learn the basics of cooking with the kids in the kitchen sessions at HOB. The cookery store hosts childrens cookery lessons every Sunday in their Brunswick location meaning that children with a passion for food, or those that want to learn about the science of cooking can get to grips with basic stuff like baking and a what makes a meal healthy.

Big Draw at Covent Garden - 12:00PM 14/10/2007
location - Covent Garden Piazza.
13th - 14th October 12pm - 6pm Free Nearest Tube: Covent Garden Kids can take part in the Big Draw at Covent Garden this year and see for themselves just how much fun drawing can be. With different activities, events and drawing workshops taking place throughout the weekend, the Big Draw will get everyone drawing, whether its murals of fruit and veg, portraits of historical Londoners, pictures of London transport or a self portrait.
