The pair were seen arguing within hours of Lynne Spears’ who arrival in Los Angeles.

Apparently it all kicked off while the pair and Britney’s manager Sam Lufti were visiting a Mercedes Benz dealership in Beverly Hills.

Onlookers have told people magazine in the US: "Lynne and Britney were arguing in the car the whole time. They're both upset and arguing, not having a good time at all."

They added that after 15 minutes at the dealership, Britney drove a vehicle off the vehicle lot then explained: "After she came out, she pulled over to the side of the road to argue with her mom more."
