Britney Held For Two Weeks

Britney Spears’ stay in a psychiatric ward has bee extended to two weeks.

On Suday, doctors decided to keep her hospitalized an additional 14 days rather tha he be released from UCLA Medical Center's psychiatric hospital.

The troubled mum-of-two was committed last Thursday for a 72-hour evaluation, being whisked away from her home in an ambulance flanked by police cars ad paparazzi.

Officials say Britney is being held as she is considered to be “gravely disabled or a danger to themselves or others.”

On Friday, Los Angeles Court Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled that she must now have someone else take over her personal and financial affairs.
