Brad Out Of Play Movie

Brad Pitt has pulled out of the big screen version of the classic BBC political drama State of Play.

Apparently he’s walked because of script concerns.

The move comes after a couple of weeks of meetings between Brad and director Kevin Macdonald in an attempt to iron out the problems.

No word yet on who will replace the Ocean’s 13 actor, although according to some reports Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe are in the running.

In a statement, Universal confirmed Brad’s departure saying: "Brad Pitt has left the Universal Pictures production of State of Play.”

”We remain committed to this project and to the filmmakers, cast members, crew and others who are also involved in making the movie. We reserve all rights in this matter."

Some sources are claiming the studio is now looking at its legal options and might sue Brad.

State Of Play also stars Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn.
