Paul Hollins' Blog

My First Blog

Thanks for clicking on my first blog.

There's loads I want to talk about now I'm blogging regularly, but I really think I ought to pace myself a bit. I suppose 'blogging' is a bit like when you start at the gym. You know how it is, you're all fired up & enthusiastic for the first few times, but you soon find that if you do too much too soon you start to regret it. So, I reckon pace is the key to a successful blog (oh, and a successful workout).

Actually, I should confess something before we go any further. I only found out the other day that "blog" is short for "Weblog", which really brightened up my day. Ha ha.

Anyway, I suppose really I should tell you a little bit more about me, which is what the rest of the guys seem to have done in their blogs. So, here comes my Top 10 list of things you (probably) didn't know about me:

I'm 30-something
I live in East London (no, I don't know Peggy Mitchell or drink in the Queen Vic)
You'll find me presenting Chilled Sunday Morning & Various Cover Shifts (when someone is off)
My favourite TV show is Scrubs
My favourite band/artist is Deacon Blue
My favourite film is 'He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not' (starting Audrey Tautou from Amelie)
On a night out you'll see me drinking San Miguel, Rioja or Pinot Grigio
On a night in you'll see me drinking whatever's in the fridge
My favourite food is Mexican
My favourite colour is blue (although I'm quite not sure why anyone would be in interested in knowing that!)

I'll be adding loads more to my blog in the coming weeks/months, so please check back when you can. Next time I'm going to be talking about Dirty Dancing (the movie) and how I have a tendency to break things.

Paul.
