Impromptu Gig No 2

I had an amazing night last night and it was completely unplanned!

I was in a bar in West London and there was a birthday party going on for a guy who was a drummer for Amy Winehouse.  The whole bar was filled with talented professional musicians and singers who just got up and jammed together.

It was amazing hearing backing singers, most with better voices than the singers they were singing for, just breaking into song, none of it planned.  One girl sang Ain't Nobody by Rufus and Chaka Khan and it made the hairs on my arms stand on end!

The compere just kept inviting people up to play and one would start a song and the others would jam along!  I had only planned to stay for a quick drink but ended up staying for hours!  They say the best nights are always unplanned!

If you are travelling up North to see family for Easter there is a good chance you may see a bit of snow this year!  It's forecast this weekend but not in London sadly.  That's one thing I miss living in the centre of town... snow!

You know when you have finally grown up when you can't eat all of your Easter eggs before breakfast on Sunday.  I remember when I was a kid it didn't matter how many eggs I had for Easter they would all be gone before we had breakfast!  I now only get one egg and that lasts me a week.

The DIY stores are gearing up for a busy weekend as the Easter break is traditionally one of the busiest for DIY!  You can tell this by the fact that they are all advertising in every newspaper today.  You can get a full kitchen that was £10,000 for 50p....well not quite but you know what I mean!

Have a great Easter break and make sure you listen to Heart over the weekend,  I will be back on Saturday at midday....
