Dancing in the aisles

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a ticket for the Mamma Mia premiere on Monday night and it was a brilliant film! It has to be the feel good movie of the summer and you can see it from next Thursday 10th July. It's jam packed full of Abba songs and an A List cast of stars such as Pierce Brosnan, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and the very funny Julie Walters plus a cameo appearance from Benny and Bjorn from Abba.

I guarantee it will have you dancing in the aisles by the end even if you are not a huge Abba fan. The film is based around the musical so if you've seen that you will know what to expect. There are many twists and turns and it becomes quite surreal by the end!

Tennis fever is sweeping across the UK at the moment because Wimbledon is on. The women's final is on Saturday and the men's on Sunday. The tournament has a unique power and manages to hook people who don't even like tennis into watching it constantly on the telly for two weeks. The Andy Murray match gave the Beeb a record audience the other night as it lasted over 4 hours and finished just as it was getting dark. You may have noticed that your local tennis courts are full at the moment too because people are playing as well as watching. I walked past my local courts this morning about 9 o'clock and every court was being used, normally there is no one playing!
