Diary of a Bad Mother

Oh dear. Low point of the week – Laura has decided to wake up. Having been rather a joy so far (apart from being a noisy sleeper), sleeping and eating pretty much on cue and not wailing she has now found her lungs and is now doing that rather unhelpful wailing thing all evening, something Oscar never did so this is entirely new. S**t! God give me patience this is misery. Am going off her and would rather spend all my time with her brother…annoyingly I can’t as she is the one who needs all the attention…

On the up side I am healing much quicker than I did first time round, am v active already and although it’s difficult to pick Oscar up and I try to do that as little as possible, I’m feeling fine. Just tired. Sleeping on the sofa is never that great although at least it is a big sofa so I can actually stretch out.
