Unlikely Crushes

The other day on Heart Breakfast you may remember they were talking about the "unlikely crushes" you have on people. Odd ones like Alan Titchmarsh, Jeremy Clarkson, mine was Deborah Meadon from Dragon's Den, why.....( isn't she worth something like £50 million?.....that'll be why then!)  So these are like guilty pleasures.

On ITV1 in March, there's going to be a tv show all about songs that are "Guilty Pleasures". Can't say too much about it, but there will be some pretty cool pop acts performing their guilty pleasures anthem. Earlier today I had to go and do some filming for it. Bit of chat about what makes a proper guilty pleasure, and what mine would be.

What would yours' be? It's quite hard actually coming up with a tune that you feel embarrassed about liking. Some are kind of border line cases. "Beat It" by Michael Jackson for example. Apparently a few people were quoting that? I think it's a dam good tune, with a legendary Van Halen guitar solo. I don't really feel too guilty about liking it. Happy to say I love it! And most of the other tracks on the Thriller album. Great sing out loud anthems.

The lovely Mica Paris was doing her stuff before me. One of hers' is "Guilty" by Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb. Get that one.
Also talked about "Video Killed The Radio Star" by Buggles. Definitely wouldn't tell all your mates you like it, but when you hear it, makes you smile. Makes you sing out and tap your fingers on the steering wheel!

Bon Jovi " Living On A Prayer", there's another. Put my hand up, guilty of liking it, guilty of playing my air guitar to it on too many random nights out.

what's yours'? Just ONE. Send me a message here . Love to know which tune you'd pick.
