Not sure which you'd least like to see me dressed in.......an apron with a green pepper on it or a "mankini" (Borat style)? I agree, probably neither thank you. And I don't blame you. However I did get in both yesterday and for perfectly valid reasons.
The apron was all part of the "Ready Steady Cook" experience. Great fun recording that yesterday afternoon with my twin sister Kate. The chefs were fab, Ainsley is just the nicest guy you'll ever meet and the salmon dish I cooked ( well, chef Gary cooked and assisted with) was delish. Thank you for choosing salmon in the online poll a few days ago. Came up with something a bit special. You'll see it soon when the programme goes out. It was such good fun, although I did get into trouble for feeding some of my dishes to the audience!
Kate loved it and was superb, albeit a bit nervous. We had some good sibling rivalry during the half hour show. Always been very proud of her. She is the most wonderful person I know. And five and a half months pregnant - she's glowing! Expecting a baby boy in Feb and i'm going to be the proudest uncle in the world. So, that's why I was in an apron.

As you'll see, I also donned a "Mankini" The Sun newspaper sent me. They're raisng money and awareness for the Orchid charity which works for men with testicular cancer. They do amazing work. So I was more than happy to get the thing on. Just be thankful I kept my clothes on underneath!
