Time to Watch 'Watch'

I really like the new Richard and Judy Show! Did you catch it last night on the launch night for new channel "Watch"?

Stellar line-up for the first one, as you'd expect I guess on the inaugural show. Samuel L Jackson and David Walliams. And a really basic red set. Nothing too fussy. No nonsense and straight forward, like the hosts. I was quite surprised. It was alright.

Think the only odd thing was the time it was on. Not used to seeing R & J on in the evening. At least Eastenders on a Tuesday finishes at 8 when R & J kicked off. Think it was one of the funniest interviews I've seen with David Walliams. Judy looked more nervous than I've ever seen her, but those two still have that incredibly watchable and alluring chemistry on screen. It's because of them that the whole thing looks quite glossy for a relatively obscure fledgling digital TV channel.

If I hadn't watched last night, I'd never have known that David Walliams is in fact David "Williams",  but because there was already a David Williams in Equity (the actor's union), he had to rename himself to Walliams. Mr Williams is in Last Of The Summer Wine, but does still occasionally get the odd misdirected letter. Like the one asking him to be the voice of Coca Cola! Had to be forwarded to Mr Walliams.

Funny. Watch "Watch" tonight. 8pm, for your fix of Richard and Judy. Not sure how successful it will be when there are no big guests in town, but good start that's for sure.
