Rentokil to the rescue 

You know what they say, in London you're never more than 10 feet away from a rat...

Yesterday evening, I was a lot closer than that! I went to open up the French windows to air the house before friends came round for dinner and I saw movement in the hedge just outside. So I stepped out and what I initially thought was a cat or something legged it past me and straight down the drain. The reason I thought it was a cat is because it was so big! Then realised it must be a rat cause it went down into the drainage system. Don't imagine cats make their homes down there too!

So having only just eradicated the whole mouse problem in the house to find there are rats knocking around as well. Great! Better start buying shares in Rentokil!
