Fish, chips and 90's hits

Just got back from Bognor. I was down there dj'ing at the 90's Weekender. Oh my god, what a mad one that was! 5000 people, all totally up for a good time. 2 Unlimited were playing. Still got " No no, no no no no....." ringing in me ears. Dj Sash as well. Remember him? "Encore Une Fois" was his big hit in the 90's. It went down a storm actually. And it was so nice to be by the sea.

With all that lovely sunshine on Saturday a few of us headed straight to the beach to chillax. It was really quiet. Not many people were out at all. But to be honest it is a bit of a reirement place though, so most of the good folk of Bognor stay on their balconies all day and eat scones. The bizarre thing was that only a few hundred yards away was the biggest party on the south coast in full swing!

Pebbly beach there, but nice bit of coastline. A few miles round the peninsular, a very different vibe in Brighton. No doubt that beach was rammed on Saturday.  What I particularly like about Bognor, apart from the seaside, the fish and chip shops (every other shop is a chippie). Fantastic! Freshly caught fish, and crinkle cut chips. Nice! Who'd be mad enough to get a kebab instead when you can have the best cod and chips anywhere. But there's not much else in the high street to be honest. Just fish and chips which suits me just fine.
