I've regressed!

I've gone back to school. Literally. Yesterday, I went back to my old school... and this time I was even allowed into the staff room!

Where's My Kitchen Gone?

Did you see my Fasterchef video? That was filmed in my kitchen, which has now been reduced to rubble by builders. And I now live in a madhouse!

How many times have you been in a restaurant, asked for a jug of tap water, and been made to feel almost criminal for doing it. It's time to rebel!

Garlic, cod liver oil... the chemist is full of potentially anti-social supplements. And now my chemist is offering liquid cod liver oil in neat form!

My night with Ant and Dec

After doing Ant and Dec's Take Away last Saturday, what superb guys they are. They haven't changed from the guys I met when I was presenting from Byker Grove!

I bet all your single folk out there just couldn't wait for today to arrive. But if you are loved up, shouldn't every day be romantic!

Barnet

Just back from the hairdresser. Always a pleasurable experience getting the grey bits cut out of the sides! Even better than that, you know when they do the whole conditioner bit, and massage your head. Can you pay people to do that to you all day?! Just sit there with your head in a bowl, having all that stress massaged out of you. Having had a bottle of wine and a bit more last night, it was just the tonic.

Valentine's Day

My friend Mark made me laugh earlier. We were talking about Valentines Day, and where we were planning on taking our other halves. Always nice to do something a bit different. Don't know about you, but i do find that whole candlelit dinner in a restaurant a tad contrived and boring. They always put the prices up, people constantly coming round to sell you roses for a fiver each and all that kind of stuff.

Ich Bin Ein Star, Holt Mich Hier Raus!

So, this guy Ross Anthony......heard of him? If you were in Germany, you wouldn't be able to get near him. Right now,he's as famous as Michael Schumacher or Boris Becker over there, and he's English. Comes from Shropshire and he just won a tv show called " Ich Bin Ein Star, Holt Mich Hier Raus." Which translated is......" I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here." It's the German version, massive over there too.

Unlikely Crushes

The other day on Heart Breakfast you may remember they were talking about the "unlikely crushes" you have on people. Odd ones like Alan Titchmarsh, Jeremy Clarkson, mine was Deborah Meadon from Dragon's Den, why.....( isn't she worth something like £50 million?.....that'll be why then!) So these are like guilty pleasures
