Back on the Ice

I'm back on Dancing on Ice for the final on Sunday... for a whole 26 seconds. What shall I do to make the most of it?

The adventure is over

So my ice skating adventure has come to an end - and ooooh so soon. I was gutted to have gone out, but I really did LOVE every minute of it, so have absolutely no regrets. It was a real privilege to work with Torvill & Dean, as well as the gorgeous Karen Barber and Mark Naylor - our wonderful coaches.

Week 2

The first show last weekend was all a bit of blur. I do remember loving every second of Torvill and Dean's opening act - what with the crazy clown like pink dancers and fire throwing skating whizz kids - including my friend from Milton Keynes' rink, Vicky Ogden. Beyond that though it's all a bit sketchy. It felt like I was in some sort of a bubble...like I was underwater and everything was in slo mo....although Andrei did say that my first bit of the routine was actually faster than we have ever done it before! I think I was so keen to get some speed across the ice that I just tried to do everything quicker...which is not always a good idea, as your saw from my little stumble! Oops.
