Alan Davies to present Heart Breakfast

Today on Heart Breakfast Jamie and Harriet announced that award-winning actor and comedian Alan Davies will present Heart Breakfast with Harriet Scott on London’s Heart 106.2 from Monday 13th October for two weeks.

Alan will be standing in for regular Heart Breakfast presenter Jamie Theakston who will be away on holiday.

Alan’s highly successful and varied career has spanned television, radio, film, theatre and stand-up. He starred in the BAFTA award-winning BBC1 series Jonathan Creek from 1996 to 2003 and won the Best Actor Award at the 2001 Monte Carlo TV Festival for his role as Bob in the comedy drama Bob and Rose. More recently, Alan played Bob Nicholson in the film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and he is currently a permanent panelist on the popular BBC quiz show QI hosted by Stephen Fry.

No stranger to radio, Alan hosted three series of Alan’s Big One on Radio 1 from 1994 to 1995 and he co-wrote and starred in his own radio sitcom, The Alan Davies Show, in 1998.
