Abbie has tried her hand at being a nanny to a director of a design products company and a fashion model before becoming a TV and radio presenter.
'Bitesize Etc', the show that Abbie presented alongside Matt Brown, was the first show on digital TV for BBC Knowledge. Abbie then moved from Carlton Kids to Raw TV before presenting the 'Pepsi Chart Show' on Channel Five.
More about Abbie:
What would you love to do if you weren't a radio presenter?
I'd love to appear in Coronation Street, or in a West End musical but I also have a strange desire to own my own teashop!
What scares you?
I can't stand spiders and I'm not great with heights so the idea of jumping out of a plane is not great!
Do you have any hidden talents?
Not exactly hidden, but I'm very proud of my karaoke skills - in fact I'm a hip-hop karaoke demon!
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
I
once mistook Chesney Hawkes for an old friend of mine, who we called
'Chessers' because he looked like Chesney Hawkes. I then proceeded to
introduce him to the people I was with as my friend, all the time
laughing at his nickname. It was only after he left I realised that he
was actually the REAL Chesney Hawkes...
